SCARLET GRUBER

Scarlet Gruber is coming off playing the lead role of Gloria Trevi in the Vix Original hit series, Gloria Trevi: Ellas soy yo, a Mexican biographical television series produced by TelevisaUnivision. The series is based on the life of Mexican singer Gloria Trevi. Gruber is the daughter of actress Astrid Gruber and singer-songwriter Gabriel Fernández, el Chamo. She started her artistic career as a professional classical ballet dancer at a very young age until she suffered an ankle injury that led her to retire. At 18, she moved more towards acting. She studied dramatic art at the Luz Columba International Center for Actoral Training (CIFALC) in Venezuela and Miami. She made her acting debut in 2010 with a supporting role in the Telemundo telenovela Aurora.

In the following years, she got her first leading role in the Telenovela Tierra de Reyes, the new adaptation of the Colombian hit Las Aguas Mansas, playing Andrea del Junco. Her first film, El Tattoo, directed by Gustavo Bolívar, and a recurring role in the Telemundo series El Chema, starring Mauricio Ochmann and Mariana Seoane, where she plays young Blanca.

In 2017, she got her first antagonistic role in the Nickelodeon series Vikki RPM, playing Kira Rivera.

After completing Vikki RPM, she appeared in Ignacio Sada's new production of Sin tu Mirada for Televisa, where she plays the role of Vanessa Villoslada.

In 2018, she joined the second season of The Unknown, where she plays Karla Marquez and shares credits with Guillermo Iván and María del Carmen Félix. In 2019, she returned to work for Televisa in the new Güero Castro production Médicos, linea de Vida, playing the Rl resident Tania Olivares, sharing credits with Livia Brito, Daniel Arenas, and again with Carlos de la Mota and Osvaldo de León.
